Vocalist and songwriter Alicia Panambi has in recent years begun to make her mark on the Swedish and Norwegian jazz scene, distinguished by her outstanding lyrical delivery in both her native Swedish and English. Raised in Stockholm, she found her musical foundation through the jazz program in Trondheim. Her music blends the elegant simplicity associated with Swedish icons such as Dina Ögon and Veronica Maggio with the expressive depth and emotional maturity of soul artists like Yebba and Norway’s Emilie Nicolas.

Backed by a solid and tasteful rhythm section, Panambi delivers delicate yet captivating lyrics exploring themes of love, longing, nostalgia, and childhood memories. Dreamy Scandinavian soul intertwines with feel-good, Motown inspired grooves and 1960s style bass lines.
