Flaig Quartet is a quartet with roots in the jazz program in Trondheim. With a quirky sound built around vibraphone, saxophone, double bass, and drums, the music moves between delicate, open sonic landscapes and a cohesive acoustic sound that is playful and spontaneous. The quartet’s music conveys a modern interpretation of the American jazz tradition of New York, inviting listeners to immerse themselves in an energetic and refreshing listening experience.
